on the page... Jonathan Lethem's As She Climbed Across the Table Dammit... I MUST finish this book. |
in my CD player... Aden Black Cow They play the sweetest chords with such whispering poetry... when seeing them at the Middle East Upstairs last night with Erika, she made a point to clap between every song... she said, "In a crowd this small, every clap counts." |
mailbox euphoria... Some time ago I began sending postcards to Michael and Jay... little pieces of me for $.20 a piece... Recently Michael has been sending some back to me... almost one a day. I hung them from my bathroom mirror to remind me that somewhere out there is a connection... and then I returned the sentiment... |
in my comment field... "I am Jack's smirking revenge." Narrator... Fight Club |
ladders that roll... Bookstore Michael leaned over to me during the candyman song in Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory on Saturday night to console me... he knows how sad it makes me to see ladders that you can climb onto and roll back and forth on... our bookstore ladders have OSHA safety brakes... a tragedy. |
magnetic poetry... I try to construct a sentence everytime I work, comprised mostly of random words I see while passing the display in our store a gazillion times a day... Katie helped with this one. |
arch enemies... I know he's been Michael's arch enemy ever since they competed for the American History X lead, but Edward Norton just continues to blow me away. Fight Club is no exception. |
