Coupland update... It's funny. Some people glanced over "dearest wish come true" without a complete understanding of exactly what it means to me. Then again, Laine called up immediately... "this is too much for a simple email response... basically you're meeting Dylan McDermott". I had L.A. Michael on the edge of his seat for 24-hours, playing mystery phone tag... and when I finally told him we were both screaming. The bottom line (now that Bookstore Michael finally told me, while I squealed and wept) is that dc is coming to Brookline on some undetermined date in January and I'm going over before the reading to hang out with him at the store. The count down begins and like Laine predicted, the anticipation is the best part.
