I have to admire a person with such an acute awareness of the pulse of the world that they can continue to reinvent themselves as the It girl after 15 years. Ray of Light is a welcomed new direction, a dive into electronica with pop sensibilities. Each song has a certain complexity, perfectly marrying vintage Madonna trademarks and melodies with something so modern, foreign, and interesting. Kudos:Title track is an addictive enigma with a video that is cinematic perfection. Everybody dance! |
