The last thing I told Bruce yesterday before hanging up the telephone was that I didn't think I'd sleep very well. I could feel the pit forming in my stomach... created by turbulence... sure to forbid peaceful rest.

I decided to take Microserfs to bed. Much like Dan, Karla, Susan, Abe, Todd, and Bug, I had a decision to make.

There's a phrase that Todd and I picked up from Microserfs that we use fairly often. "One-point-oh-ness". Being the first to do the first version of something. Staking a claim... reaching a summit. Karla's words about one-point-oh-ness and the dream of what humanity can create with computers jumped off the page last night. And like I hoped they would... my thoughts clicked into place with their clean, hard, sharp edges.

My sleep was peaceful and deep. And my dreams were filled with vision.
