pleasant surprise...
So in searching for something to do with
Erika's German cousin, Alexandra, last Friday night, we
happened upon Central Square. Since Verbena was sold out,
we flipped a coin and ventured into TT the Bear's to see
My Favorite Relative and Splashdown... such a unique turn
of events... my two new favorite bands and two
new reasons not to leave Boston.
fired up...
Todd's the one who's all fired up about hypotheticals
now... he's impossible when he's got something to rant
about.
paper doll...
I told Howard that Adrian Hierholzer looks so good in
clothes I'd like dress him up like a paper doll... and
after just one 8-hour work day, Todd's already sick of
this new obsession.

rabbit...
I hold the trophy for the month of October. I could
barely sleep last Thursday night from the anticipation of
beating Todd to the punch.
gerber daisies...
As of last night, I'm finally free of the Franklin Covey
cult. I tucked my planner away in favor of something a
little more versatile and space friendly... and rewarded
myself with a bouquet of red and orange Gerber daisies.
zero survival skills...
Last Thursday's cookout at Erika and Jeanne's proved us
all to be the least resourceful group of people on the
planet. Todd hovered over a butane soaked charcoal grill,
lighting matches one by one to no avail, complaining
about the wet burger patty paper I was handing him to
induce the fire... as if it were the only paper this side
of the Rockies... while a group of six stood around and
watched with amusement.
