Too Young To Die: Singles 1990-1995
It
was cool to hear Coupland bubbling over about how
glamorous Sarah Cracknell is. It's fun when stars get
star-struck.
stalling...
Ten 'till five and I still haven't gone out to Home Depot
to buy the paint for my floor. A 24-hour Home Depot would
be such a wonder. They have one in Brooklyn near my
aunt's apartment... why not here?
golden ticket by
association...
So LA Michael is part of the Screen Actor's Guild
nominating committee this year... and in addition to his
golden ticket to see any movie he wants for free at any
time, he also has studios mailing him videos of current
films like Magnolia, The Talented Mr. Ripley,
Being John Malkovich, and Sweet and Lowdown.
And because he's the best friend a girl could have, he's
loaning them out to me. I told Marny about it and now she
wants to join the Screen Actor's Guild, not to be an
actor, but on the chance that she could get to see free
movies, too.
in my comment field...
"For more serious occasions, put your
horn-rim glasses in your breast pocket, leaving one
earpiece hanging outside your coat. This reminds others
that you may have to read an important telex or vital
deal memo at any moment- very smart looking."

laundry day...
Written on a scrap piece of paper found in
the back pocket of a pair of jeans: "Even though you
can't see him now, Carl is your friend." It's not my
handwriting... and rereading it makes me laugh just as
hard as when I first received it.
sunday
times surprise...
Today is the first day in forever that I've
been able to soak in the entire Sunday Times. It
was quite informative and in some ways bizarre.
