Even though the jazz was too loud and our table was swamp-like from the expensive sloshes of our cocktails as people carelessly bumped into it, the Wonder Bar provided us with atmosphere.
But it was our caustic conversation and brutal honesty that really created the evening. That I enjoyed so much.
