Laine took these photographs nearly a year ago, when NYC woke up to a new year filled with snow, but she just shared them with me today. It reminds me of the two of us walking down 5th Avenue, her singing "City sidewalks, busy sidewalks, dressed in holiday style..." while I looked at the sky above and wished for snow.
