Sometimes you just have to reward the genius of packaging.

Marianna fished this unusual cd out of a $6 local bin at In Your Ear on Commonwealth, intrigued by the spiral binding. When we got to this little acetate page depicting heartbreak in the simplest terms, I knew I had to own it.

The cd is just okay. Nothing special. I've spun it around a few times on my way to work. But this sweet little picture is so much more.

It now sits atop my center speaker. On display. A conversation piece.

A treasure.
