on the page...
Back issues of The Atlantic
I have two years of them sitting here that have never been touched from when I was in my magazine subscription ordering phase. They would be delivered, I would file them away. And suddenly-- after all this time-- they appeal to me. Strange.

on the rod...
Four brand new, sparkling, bright white shower curtain liners.
Something so simple, and so cheap ($1.99 each at IKEA), brings so much joy.

in my new blue glass...
Britta-filtered H20

in my bowl...
Cinnacluster Raisin Bran... a cereal "inspired" by the taste of cinnamon raisin bread
There is so much to love about an "inspired" cereal.

captured my affection...
Giraffes and Elephants... and the occasional Super Rocket Monkey
B sends me one every morning now. I am to be loving them so, just as I am to be loving him so. So much that we now have to be talking like the wiley Super Rocket Monkey. It is to be becoming addictive.

most recent childhood story...
Colby cheese and spanish olive halves melted onto Triscuits = party
B: "Your parents must love you. You were and are so easy to amuse."

hottest gossip...
The Schedule 13D filed against MEDITECH
Around page 10 this thing starts to read like a daytime soap opera. Todd and I are calling it the anti-Enron, since most of the charges are exactly opposite, such as undervaluing rather than overvaluing the stock.

excited about...
A new vivid and rockin' Elvis Costello album in April

progress...
Last Wednesday morning, I actually woke up naturally at 7:15am. I immediately got out of bed, took a shower, made coffee and breakfast, and sat down to start my workday before 8. And then Thursday I woke up from dreams about bugs and peanutbutter milkshakes at around 9:20am. Yesterday I woke up at 6am to make Bev and Sue pumpkin waffles before taking them to the train station, and I was ready for bed at 10:30pm. I am antischedule.

most recent project...
On Friday, I battled the furniture to create a new, comfier living space. I am so happy with it, but was so sore from the combat with heavy bookshelves and card catalogs.
