| I changed the flat tire in just under 18 minutes.
I must admit, I had a smidgeon of help from a stranger with a miniature
greyhound. He walked across the parking lot to ask if I needed help and
I told him that I could handle everything except loosening the lug nuts.
He promptly performed that impossible task and left me to carry on by myself.
It pleased me that he took me at my word instead of taking over. I'm a renaissance
woman, after all. Even in a full length skirt and platform shoes. |
