
When I saw this ad in the Washington Post tonight for Unicef, I thought immediately of Laine and I.
Maybe it was the mix of straight blond and curly brown hair. Or the mandatory tiara and magic wand.
But I think most of all, it was the idea of sticking near to our friends as they stick near to us,
seeing each other through these tough times. And that, indeed, seems like the most
worthwhile thing we can do for our country.
