We couldn't conclude which was the most surreal part of the gallery opening:
the movie-financing-what-is-the-in-drug-among-hollywood-types conversation; the subbasement space with
20 feet windows overlooking a backyard garden; the furry and feathered hats; the sofa filled with senior
citizens; walking over the Plexiglass koi pond running through the hardwood floor; the curvy walls and curvy
railings; the glass steps lit from underneath; the built in tropical fish tank; the two story rock ledge waterfall;
or the card catalog filled with Mardi Gras beads. Had we walked through a door on 15th Street in Chelsea
and ended up in Narnia? It was a definite possibility.
