I'm already late.

Back in November 2001, I decided that I was going to participate in NaNoWriMo--National Novel Writing Month-- where I dared to write a 50,000 word novel during the month of November. And I failed miserably.

And then about a month ago I read that someone had dreamed up a NaNoWriMo alternative for bloggers, NaBloPoMo--National Blog Posting Month, where you basically just need to post to your blog every day for the month of November. And since I haven't posted to whirlygirl since August, I was thinking that this might be an access-door-motivator back into the blogging world.

And then I forgot. And now it's November 3rd. Dammit.

I think I'll try to pull it out though... move on from here and as Tim Gunn says, "make it work." We've made great strides on the house, had our parental visitors come and go, we're nearly caught up with weeks of missed TiVo, and it's getting COLD outside. What better way to keep the home fires burning than through some pointless scribble about the humdrum that is my life?
